Kirsten is an Irish children's author based in Dubai who believes every child has a light worth shining. Through gentle characters and magical adventures, her writing encourages love, imagination and connection between children and their families. She is the author of The Smallest Light, published by Austin Macauley in 2026. A qualified coach and former owner of Peekado, a children's book subscription business in the UAE, Kirsten began her path in children's stories after volunteering as a kindergarten teacher in Bali. Her hope is for every child to close the book smiling, feeling brave and eager to let their own light shine.
