Charlotte Bryth

Charlotte Bryth is a French children’s author based in Dubai. Before writing for children, she built a career in live entertainment, working for over twenty years in fireworks, special effects and creative production for large-scale events.

Her first picture book, Tio and the Secret Room, is available in English and French and is aimed primarily at children aged 6–9. Through a gentle, child-friendly metaphor, the story introduces the topic of periods in a way that includes both girls and boys and helps families open the conversation naturally.

Charlotte’s work is inspired by the idea that children’s books can make important subjects feel simpler, warmer and easier to talk about.

She is open to selected school, nursery and community events in the UAE, including readings and informal author Q&As.
