Saniya Chughtai creates stories children want to step inside, filled with unforgettable characters, adventure, humour and cultural discovery. An award-winning children’s author, storyteller and founder of The Wadi Tribe, she has written and published more than fourteen books for readers from the early years through to middle grade. Her books have been translated into Arabic, Urdu and Irish and have received international recognition, including the TCK Publishing Readers Choice Award, Royal Dragonfly Awards and Purple Dragonfly Awards. Her work and creative journey have also been featured by Gulf News, Dubai Eye 103.8, The Irish Echo in New York, Ireland Calls Radio and Merge 104.8. Through The Wadi Tribe, Saniya creates imaginative stories that entertain first, while naturally exploring confidence, empathy, courage, friendship, honesty and belonging. Her school visits are lively, theatrical and highly interactive, combining expressive storytelling, character voices, creative challenges, author talks, workshops and lively Q&A sessions.
