Giselle Onanian

Born in England to British and Lebanese-Armenian parents, Giselle has spent over thirty years growing up as an expat in Dubai, immersed in a genuine melting pot of cultures. That experience is the heart of Alfie & Oak, a series shaped by the realities of expat childhood: moving when a parent changes jobs, missing family on special occasions, and returning to school each September to find another friend has left. Through school visits, open conversations, and creative writing workshops, Giselle passes down the wisdom her own parents gave her, helping expat children and their families everywhere learn to embrace a home away from home. Giselle is also a co-founder of AlRaff.
