Aprajita Ramsagar Singh is a writer, social impact leader, and coach with almost two decades of experience at the intersection of international development, storytelling, and strategic partnerships. Through Story Seeds by Aprajita, she nurtures this vision one story, one reader, and one conversation at a time. Her career includes work with Search for Common Ground, the world’s largest peacebuilding organisation. A gold medallist from the National University of Singapore’s Master’s in Public Policy programme, Aprajita’s writing is rooted in nature, community, and cultural memory. A farmer at heart and advocate for sustainable living, she is a firm believer in the quiet power of stories and in picture books for all ages, not just children. Originally from India and now based in Dubai with her husband and young son, who inspires her writing, she creates stories for the children we are raising and the children we once were. Aprajita also conducts interactive, age-tailored storytelling visits and workshops for children and families, featuring activities such as letter writing, treasure hunts, origami, and creative storytelling. Her parent-child workshops explore how picture books can spark imagination, connection, and meaningful conversations. Books: Summers with Dadu (Tota Books, an imprint of Speaking Tiger 2025); Tara’s Many Homes (forthcoming, Tota Books, 2026); Mummy Made a Rocketship (forthcoming, Little Steps Publishing, UK, 2027).
